Michaela White, founder and executive director of Loving Louise Charity, was born in New Albany, Mississippi, and raised in Racine, Wisconsin from the age of three months. She was lovingly raised in the care of her great-grandmother, Louise Staten-Taylor, whose compassion, strength, and dedication to family and community became the foundation of Michaela’s values and purpose.
Michaela was surrounded by generations of women who believed deeply in service. Her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Hunter, worked alongside Louise Staten-Taylor in helping raise her and was herself a respected pillar in the community. Mrs. Hunter founded Love and Charity, an initiative devoted to supporting families and uplifting those in need. Through the example of both grandmothers, Michaela grew up witnessing firsthand what it means to care for others, stand in faith, and give selflessly.
From a young age, Michaela demonstrated a natural calling toward helping others — especially children. Whether offering encouragement, support, or simply a listening ear, she has always been passionate about ensuring that young people know they are seen, valued, and that their voices matter.
Today, Michaela carries forward the legacy of both Louise Staten-Taylor and Mrs. Hunter through Loving Louise Charity. The organization stands as a living tribute to the women who raised her and the community spirit they embodied. Through mentorship programs, community outreach, and youth empowerment initiatives, Michaela continues the mission instilled in her since childhood: to love, uplift, and serve.
